Best food around. Home cooked meals and you can not beat the price. Service is great and friendly. Makes you feel like you went to your grandmother's house to eat. Love it. My favorite place to eat

We love this place. They are usually good for a quick home style breakfast, but today it was not good. My husband's pancakes where cold and the plate had a big crack in it. My biscuit was kinda hard. Though the breakfast burrito I got was really good. That is the only reason I gave it a two star.It's as if everything was precooked and not even saved in a warmer.I work in food service and I know how to cut corners to save time but it can compromise quality and is often times not worth it.

I get the feeling that this place gets high marks for being the only show in a small town. Food was fast and service was friendly which makes the poor food quality even more baffling. The eggs were luke warm, the French toast was barely battered and the hotcakes had zero flavor.

I really enjoyed the relaxed atmosphere. The people were very friendly. The waitress was exceptionally helpful. The food was delicious. The price was really inexpensive. If you like truly exceptional country cooking you will love this restaurant. Best country fried steak I had in a long time. Their menu selection was very nice with plenty of wonderful choices. I had a hard time deciding what I wanted to order. Great place to take your family or just pop in for a nice bite on your own. Can eat in or order by phone for take out. Try it.. You will love it...

Amazingly friendly staff, GREAT food, and talk about fast service! I think we waited 5 minutes for our food and there were four of us in our party and the rest of the place was crowded, too! Seriously, if you ever come through Interlochen, this HAS to be a stop on your itinerary. You will NOT regret it!

Came here yesterday morning while I was in town for my rabbits vet visit. Highly pleased with how homely and pleasant it is. The ladies who work there are sweet and full of southern hospitality. Had an omelette that made me miss my granny cause it was exactly how she used to make them. Highly recommend to anyone wanting some great food and be around great people.

Breakfast is great but that's about it. We have had lunch there twice and regretted it. Open face roast beef sandwich had no flavor. The chicken sandwich looked like they used a Tyson chicken patty instead of fresh cooked chicken. Then the Turkey club had lunch meat instead of fresh items. My husband ordered a couple soft tacos. The shells were hard and there was maybe a small spoonful of meat on them. Terrible.

Due to COVID, I didn't want to eat inside, despite 6-foot distancing measures already taken by the owners. I also didn't want take-out, due to styrofoam NEVER decomposing, and it was sprinkling, so eating on the outside bench was out, as well. I wanted to eat in the cab of my truck on real plates with real silverware. They know me, so that may have helped the trust factor, and this is an unlikely request, anyway. Even so, they very pleasantly let me do it, and it made my morning. It felt like I'd (safely!) gone out to eat. My order was delicious and exactly, as requested... Eggs OM, grits, rye toast with STRAWBERRY jam, side of home fries. Delicious!

This place is simply amazing, haven't been in quite a while, miss the WONDERFUL People that work here. I promise I will stop in and see everyone next time I make a trip to interlachen. I would strongly recommend this place for the BEST food around for MILESSSS and some of the friendliest service. After visiting a few times you start to build a family relationship with everyone. I miss you guys, see you soon!
